Currency conversion

Currency exchange transactions can be carried out in the Internet bank. Exchange rates are informative and may change during the day. We update the rates of the European Central Bank only on OP bank settlement days.

The limits of currency exchange transactions and payments with a cover currency depend on the time of the transaction:

  • 9:00-17:00 on working days*: EUR 3,000,000 per transaction
  • 7:00-9:00 and 17:00-23:00 on working days*: EUR 500,000 per transaction
  • On Finnish public holidays and 23:00-7:00 on Saturdays and Sundays: EUR 100,000 per transaction
