Execution of payments during the holiday period 02–06 April 2026
Due to the upcoming Easter holidays, there will be temporary changes to payment processing conditions in the euro area payment systems.
On Thursday, 2 April, payments within OP Group will be executed on the same banking day provided that the payment order is submitted to the bank by 12:30. Currency exchange transactions can be carried out until 13:00.
From 3 to 6 April, interbank and international euro payments will not be processed, as the euro area payment systems are closed during the Easter holidays. SEPA Instant payments will operate as usual during this period.
On Monday, 6 April, which is a public holiday in Finland, OP internal payments will not be processed and transactions requiring currency exchange as well as express payments in foreign currency will not be available. Currency exchange transactions in the online bank can be made up to 100,000 euros per transaction.
Interbank payments can be initiated during this period, but they will reach the recipient starting from 7 April.
From Tuesday, 7 April, all payments will be processed as usual.
